Things On My Mind

What a great practice we had last night with the choir. This MCWL is going to be great. There is enthusiasm from the participants like I've not seen since moving into my position at CBC. We still need people for positions that would be considered "Crew" for the Christmas production. If you or anyone you know is interested, let me know.

We are still in need of volunteers for the fund raising auction. The date is quickly approaching and will be here before you know it. If you would like to volunteer, call me soon or email me at p.a.panter1@gmail.com . God is doing a great work here at CBC, don't miss out on your opportunity to be part of it!!

Great weekend

What a great weekend. Morning service was great. One person acknowledged their need for salvation. Then we met for a night of praise and worship singing. Great leadership was provided for that and songs were really good. Band sounded the best I've heard in a long time.

Now I will prepare for Wednesday choir practice. The music is just great. I'm looking forward to the Christmas season, especially the MCWL production.

BTW, my Theology class stinks. I will be crawling through this one. Until next time.....

Its Been a While

Ok, so I haven't posted in....lets just say a while. My bad. The last 2 days were spent at the Innovate '09 conference. There were budget constraints that the good people at GCC had to deal with in putting together the conference. I would like to go on record saying that they did an incredible job all things considered. It was cutting edge, innovative, and insightful. Its hard to come back home from a conference like this and not feel totally motivated and excited. My desire is to take some elements of what I have seen and apply them to the work God has called me to here at CBC. It's not an easy task, but God never called people to do things with the promise it would be easy. God use me to bring Your hope to seekers in need of Your Salvation.

This Week

The music schedule is posted for p&w and we are looking forward to a great Sunday with God's blessings. Whitney will be with us and singing in both services as will Vince and Louise. I encourage everyone to strive to be there this weekend as Craig Walker will be speaking in our services. I am eager to hear him. Have a good day and I will see you Sunday.

Nice Job to All

Today was a great Sunday musically. The band did an outstanding job as did the singers. It was nice to see a new face singing with us too. Zack and Kaylie gave us a nice live performance, and I was told by a member of the deacon board that One Voice has never sounded better than they did today. Thanks to all who took part. Lets strive to continue to build up the great program we have. Have a good week.
